Something not working?
Email support@dontdateyourphotos.date and you'll get a real reply. Below are the questions that come up most.
I deleted a photo by mistake. Can I get it back?
Yes. Open the Photos app, go to Albums, scroll to Recently Deleted, and recover it there. iOS keeps deleted photos for 30 days. This app cannot delete anything permanently — only iOS can, and only after that window.
Why hasn't my storage gone down?
Because the photos are still on your phone, in Recently Deleted, for 30 days. That's iOS protecting you from mistakes. Space comes back when that period ends, or immediately if you empty Recently Deleted yourself from the Photos app.
The app says it can only see some of my photos
That means iOS is set to "Limited Access" and is only sharing the photos you hand-picked. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Don't Date and choose Full Access. The app needs to see your library to tell you what's in it.
Will it ask me about the same photo twice?
No. Every decision is recorded on your device, and a photo you've already dealt with never returns to the deck. You can stop mid-session and come back whenever.
What happens when I swipe up?
The photo is kept and marked as a Favorite in your normal iOS photo library — the same favorite the Photos app uses. You'll find it in your Favorites album.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore purchases. This brings back a plan you bought previously, including on another device signed in to the same Apple ID.
How do I cancel the weekly plan?
Weekly plans are managed by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select Don't Date Your Photos, and cancel there. The lifetime option is a single payment and has nothing to cancel.
Do you have my photos?
No, and we never could. The app has no server and never uploads anything. See the privacy policy for the details.
Still stuck?
